This year promises to be an exciting and successful one
for all. We welcome our new students, teachers and
staff. As we embark on this journey together we must be
prepared to work hard to meet the challenges ahead. I
have great confidence that we can continue the academic
excellence of Palm Springs Middle School. The
outstanding staff of teachers, clerical personnel, custodians, and
administrators look forward to providing a nurturing
environment so all of our students can reach their maximum
potential. It is my intent and that of the faculty and
staff to continue to make our school a place where pride

It is
a wonderful time for your child to be a student at Palm
Springs Middle School. I am writing you today, to share

Sixteen “Mobile Computer Labs” with 24 laptops in each lab

Skills, Technology, and TV Production.

Electives including Law Studies, Band, Family and
Consumer Science, Journalism, Yearbook, Peer Mediation
and Conflict Resolution, a class specifically designed
to help students learn Study and Organizational Skills,
and a class where children learn how to Decrease their
Level of Stress and Focus Better on their Studies.

Tutorial services throughout the school year include,
Tutoring Academy for Limited English Proficient (LEP)
Students, Saturday Academy, FCAT Tutoring through Title
I, and daily Media Center Tutorial.
